Crew Leaders we are having our monthly crew leader meeting this Thursday at 7:00 AM in the Conference room. Please do not be late.
I have not received a near miss report in some time. This does not mean we are not having near misses, it means they are not being reported. We need to be sure we report all our near misses so we can prevent them from becoming injuries! Crew leaders cover this in your morning meetings.
Our pulp mill beautification efforts are really starting to show now. The fresh paint looks great, the overall mill cleanliness is improved (though is still not where we want it to be), and our new concrete is going to greatly improve the safety of our walking surfaces. Please continue to clean up as you go. Do not leave trash on the ground. If everyone will pick up a little bit a of trash each time they walk through the mill, the facility will stay clean.
